Optimising synergies between and among different group units

The KT-Group is concerned with sustainable development opportunities and initiatives to economically empower and transform South Africa and to benefit South Africans - especially under-resourced communities.

KT, as the mother-body and one with a broad-based legitimacy and reputation is the originator of all these structures an though it, these structures (subsidiaries) benefit from its networks. Without this "mother-child"- relationship, between KT and its subsidiaries most would have taken a longer time to break into respectable markets.

Business admire KTI and constantly approach it for joint ventures and partnerships. KTI occasionally passes those profitable and promising deals which do not fit its criteria to KTE and where appropriate, provides financial, logistical support and input. KT and KTC also interact with promising and potentially-viable small businesses, passing them to KTE. KTE in turn links up communities deserving grant-funding with KT for project identification and development.

The KT-Group and the synergy between the various entities is unprecedented in South Africa and in many parts of the world. Consequently the KT -Group is placed in a highly unique position and we utilise our strengths continuing to move forward.

While various units within the KT -Group support and complement on another, as they are legally, administratively and structurally separate entities. Each have their own boards, budgets and separate overheads. When "cross-pollination" does occur, it is done on a strict business basis.
